LabCreator can save a screen shot of the current view in BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, XBM or XPM format. You can choose any resolution for the image. The resolution is theoretically only restricted by the memory capacity of the graphics card. When clicking "Save", however, the user is also given a selection of predefined resolutions.
The user can also decide whether the image should include the ground. He/she can also decide whether the colour gradient in the background should be included. Or the user can define whether the background should be transparent (provided the selected format supports this) or appear in the set background colour.
"Quality" is only available if the selected image format supports lossy compression (such as JPEG). In this way the user can adjust the image quality. Otherwise a default value is used.
"Enable compression" is only available if the format supports lossy compression (such as TIFF). This makes it possible to significantly reduce the amount of memory used without loss of quality.
Attention: We explicitly advise against setting extremely high resolutions. If the graphics card memory is not large enough, setting very high resolutions may result in the program crashing!
