In contrast to the RGB color space which defines the color by its red, green and blue fraction the basis of the HSV color space is hue, saturation and value.
| • | Hue is an angle. H=0°=red. H=120°=green. H=240°=blue. |
| • | Saturation S is given in percent. 0%=grey. 100%=pure color. |
| • | Value V is given in percent. 0% no brightness. 100% full brightness. |
