Similar to the creation of walls, it is possible to paint lines on the ground which can be followed by Robotino in Robotino® SIM Professional. Like walls, lines consist of single segments which can be controlled either directly or via the control points at the ends. Collision detection is not performed for lines, and they have no height.

A special property assignable to lines is electrical conductivity (imagine a metal strip on the ground). This makes it possible for a Robotino in Robotino® SIM Professional to detect such lines without his camera simply by using its inductive sensors.
