Measuring distances is very simple in LabCreator and is done with the "Create measurement" tool. The user can choose whether he/she wants to measure the distance between two points at the X-Z level or only the distance in the respective direction. As with wall segments, two check points are placed on the level, which can also be slightly modified later on. After this, the user can immediately modify the position of the labelling, if he/she wishes to do so.

To change the position of the labelling later on, all you need to do is drag the text to the desired position with the mouse.

 

Dimensions can be hidden by the user.
